BBRC “Filters”

  • Does the project/cause create systemic and enduring change in the lives of people?
  • Does the project/cause allow Rotarians to become physically (as well as financially) involved?
  • Does the project/cause allow the BBRC to leverage our financial commitment by partnering with other organizations?
  • Can the BBRC adequately follow up on the project/cause to ensure that the money and time we’ve committed has been spent as promised?
  • Does the project/cause provide an opportunity to advance the community’s awareness of Rotary and the BBRC?
  • Does the project/cause have alternate funding sources? (Is our gift a small drop in a big bucket or are we really making a significant difference?)
